My Fitbit Sense seems to not be counting steps, floors and heart rate properly. How can I troubleshoot a fix or reset for the device?

Hi, @Broadwing. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I'm glad to hear your issue is solved now.
For further references, please note when you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects.
To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually. For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
For more information about GPS, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

Hi there, @Jlynnpin. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Sense.
As a first approach, please restart your Sense. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
If the issue persists, may I know if your Sense is not tracking any of this data at all?

My Sense has steps correct but distances aren’t recording. Been stuck at 0.44 miles with 1212 steps taken so far? Update, as I did more steps it finally started to record, normally 1050 = .50 mile.

I have restarted a few times and it seems to get a bit better but after a few days it’s back to tracking very inaccurately.
My Sense does track but as an example, it will state I’ve walked 1500 steps or 9 floors while just now getting out of bed. When doing a high cardio workout as an example, my Sense will show my heart rate as 106 but it’s definitely higher. When I view my heart rate after a workout, it does not match other devices like a Whoop or other Fitbit.
