Sense needs a few manual syncs to show sleep score

Ok thanks for the help.  Since we have you looking at odd behaviour, I have noticed a couple of other odd things that are more of a nuisance than anything.  When syncing, the sense watch needs a few manual syncs before the sleep score displays.
The other is the one graph in health metrics for spO2.  There is an offset that doesn’t change.  May be a rounding error?

Hi there, @Techgrunt.

I've moved your post to this other thread since you're having a different issue with your Sense. Thanks for the detailed information and the screenshot provided. In regards to the sleep score, let's try reconnecting the Bluetooth connection with your watch:

  1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Monitor its behavior in the next few days and let me know how it goes.

About the SpO2, may I know if the rest of your Health Metrics graphs have the same behavior? When did this start to happen? Was it after updating the Fitbit app? Also, what is the model of your phone? Please provide me with these details so I can investigate on my end.

Phone is iphone Xr

version of iOS is 15.5

version of app is 3.60.1

Graphing, now that I look at each individual graph under the learn more link, seem to be off for the SpO2 and the breathing rate.  The rest seem ok.  Overview screen graphs show no visual shift  compared to individual graphs.  At first glance it looks like a rounding issue. The graphs appear to be aligned to a decimal value while the chart numbers referenced on the graph line appear rounded up, maybe?

Tried the restart process to attempt to clear up the sleep score on watch sync issue to no effect.  If i left app running long enough it did manage to do it on its own I think, but it did take a long time.
Still takes a few manual syncs otherwise

Hi there, @Techgrunt.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information and trying the steps suggested above. Also, I appreciate the screenshot provided. While I'm glad your sleep score and Health Metrics are able to sync, I understand your concern as it shouldn't take too many attempts to get your data updated. Let me share a new Fitbit app version is progressively rolling out to our members, so please wait and make sure to install it as soon as it's available on the App store.

If by any chance the issue persists after doing that, please let me know so I can continue helping you with this matter.

Last update, 44.128.6.12 seems to continue to misbehave.  Graph behaviour is still the same as well as sync issue.

Sometimes this is because the fitbit server didn't respond soon enough.

  • Sleep score requires a sync
  • Cloud processing
  • Then the app needs to get an update from the cloud services. .

Then again, sometimes I've had something go wrong ant it took several hours to get a sleep score.
