Sense not keeping GPS signal

Having upgraded to the Sense I've noticed that when I want to go a run. I set run, then I get connecting to GPS. Then I get connected. So off I go. The last couple of times when I've returned from my run my fibit displays resume and no stats are tracked. This is a pinta as I don't always have my fitbit immediately on display. It could be under a cuff. I also run with another watch as I was deciding on which ecosystem to select. The other watch performs flawlessly. Is it possible to switch off this resume function. Why doesn't the watch just continue after reconnection. Any advice appreciated.

Hi, @SunsetRunner welcome, I walk 6 miles a day and have not had any issues with the GPS since I got my Sense in January. You may find this article How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device? offers a useful pointer to a setting you may have inadvertently changed.
