Messages from my iPhone does not go through to my Fitbit Sense. I’ve tried updating my phone’s software and Fitbit app as well as restarting the device but it still won’t work.

It seems like my wife both and I had this for like a day and a half and then
it cleared up. I have the sense and she has the versa. I chalked this up
to us updating our accounts with new watches, We haven't had any issues
since then.

I ended up factory resetting the sense, removing it from the Fitbit app & forgetting the device through Bluetooth & starting over. It works now!

We just bought the sense and had the same issue, we tried to go into the notifications menu and nothing happened, you actually need to go into the “on wrist calls” this is the button above the notifications then select the “check permissions” into “app notifications” and select the app notifications you want to allow. You will get more choices as you use the different apps. Hope this helps! 🙂 this is a bug and we have reported it to Fitbit.

I had the same issue and got it fixed, finally. Did all the normal stuff to no avail. The solution (in addition to all the other settings they tell you to set) was to go into the Iphone Settings/Notifications under Phone, Messages and FitBit (all three), and for all three turn on Allow Notifications, Notification Center (under Alerts) and Always (Default) under Options/Show Previews. I hope this helps.

On your phone go to notifications and scroll down to messages.> previews > show previews and set it to always. It will then show up on the Fitbit sense. I dislike that you have to set it to show the message notifications on your locked phone screen but it will now go to your Fitbit sense. The older Fitbit’s didn’t need to set that to always
