Sense not receiving notifications

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased a sense in December 2020 and I have an iPhone 8 Plus. Every 3 days I have to reset the sense and re-sync the phone app because the sense won’t notify me when I have any form of notification or phone call. All the apps that receive notifications on my phone are also supposed to show up on my sense. I’m getting pretty tired of having to reset the sense every couple of days just so I can get notifications. Does anyone have the same problem and have a solution?

It sounds like you are probably removing the tracker from your Fitbit account, and then setting it up as a new device

Their isn't any re-sync process, but the Fitbit app will try to sync whenever it is open, or you go back to the dashboard. You can also drag the window down to initiate a sync.

Usually notifications stop when a permission has changed. I suggest next time take a look at these tips

@RMC81 sounds like the Fitbit app is stopped by iOS after three days.

For Android you have to modify some background and power saving settings to enable permanent notifications. Don't know exactly for iOS. Have only heard that you should not close the Fitbit app at all to get notifications.

Agreed, it's a bit ridiculous to have to keep the app open all the time in order to make it work.  If you close it you then get a notification to keep it open!!
