Hello all. My fitbit sense is no longer syncing on my phone. I can receive notifications on the watch but when I try to sync, it says error and does not upload datas like steps and sleep. I tried to restart it but the settings app keeps crashing. I did the usual troubleshooting on my watch but still not working. I contacted fitbit support through chat and they walked me through all the troubleshooting steps again and did it over and over again just to make sure. The only thing left is doing the factory reset. I tried doing it several times but it doesn’t work at all. They said they’re going to review my case and will get back to me via email. How long should I wait? And also, is anyone experiencing the same thing?

I also received a replacement for free but after some months it seems to be harder and harder to get it going again, even with a lot of wriggling.

Yes, my Sense isn't syncing either and it's not because the phone needs an android update. That one is up-to-date already.
It's been going on all day and I don't really know what to do.

This is a common problem affecting multiple different Fitbit watches and has nothing to do with any phone model, OS version, Play Store updates, etc. This is 100% a Fitbit app problem. There are over 2000 posts about sync issues just in the last few months. Here is what I do when this happens to me: turn off Bluetooth on my phone > long press the Fitbit app icon > app info > clear cache > force stop > then restart my phone > then restart my watch (Sense) > when both are rebooted turn Bluetooth back on > open Settings > connected devices and verify my Sense is connected to Bluetooth again > that usually gets them in sync again for a few days.

This is ridiculous. If I just wanted a watch that's what I would buy. No syncing, no way to change watchfaces and all of my ECG Data is gone. Disgusting from Fitbit. This used to be a fantastic app and piece of kit but not now Google have got their ready hands on it.
GET IT FIXED FFS!

I am also not able to sync my watch. I am out of town and it will not update the time.

Even if they work reasonably well, the support seems to stop soon after the latest model is out - and that was before Google. They last a maximum of 3 years in my experience but once you are out of warranty no one cares. I know because I tend to buy the old model on special once a new model is out.
Also, why did Google change the colourful display in the app to this monochrome boring style?

I did a factory reset on my Sense and it seems to be working ok for now. I did a chat and had a phone call with support and they never mentioned doing a factory reset. So I just decided to try it what did I have to lose? Nothing that was suggested worked but so far I am able to sync it with my IPhone. The home page is different but you can navigate and get apps. You will lose some of your information but hopefully you can at least be able to use the tracker like it is supposed to be used. Hope this helps!
