Hi, my sense isn't working properly after cleaning it.
What happened was i cleaned it as normal with water and Cetaphil.
Then i dried it as normal and plugged it in to charge it (again, nothing out of the ordinary). I came back to find it constantly vibrating and restarting. The wristband was off but was next to it, touching the screen. Taking the contacting wrist band away didn't help, it kept vibrating and restarting.
After a while i tried turning it off but it didn't turn off so I let it run its course through the night and eventually it died.
I recharged it today and it's better except that now the button either doesn't respond or when pressed registers it as a long press (pulling up Google assistant) only, even if it's not a long press.
The sense still syncs. Initially yesterday, the time was off by about a half hour after the start of the incident but then synced to the correct time.
Is this water damage or something else?
What can I do?
Unfortunately, I'm a month past warranty so my options are probably limited.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Chudtrooper - see How do I clean my Fitbit device?
If it is synced, try a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu.
And as it is possible it got water in it - to make sure it's dry, place in a bag of rice for a few days, then charge it making sure it does not get hot.
It should come back on by itself and when synced the time will get set right.
If it is still not working right, it would indicate possible damage, chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support. They may help you through a factory reset as a last resort.

Thank you! I just got my sense out of the rice and it worked until today, ironically after getting sprayed by a sprinkler, so I'm thinking a seal is bad it's time to get another one. I may reach out to fitbit.
Thanks again!
