Sense's battery is depleting and not charging

My sense fitbit is showing 0% even though  I charge it all day. The fitbit logo will show up in the beginning and then the screen goes blank.  I charge my husband's sense to the same charge and it works, but not mine which I only own for 7 months.

Thanks,

Hi @Mad4me  - thanks for the clear definition of the problem, if you have cleaned it well and it's not charging and is stuck on the logo it probably has a fault such as water getting in and will need replacing where you bought it under warranty.

I love my Sense it's litterally my 3rd fitbit in 6 + years but the batteries in them just aren't that great. It makes no sense to me to have all these other options like Spotify, Starbucks etc... when the battery doesn't make it 2 days. I've turned litterally everything off to use the Excercise section and the battery just doesn't last 4 or 5 days as advertised.

Hi @PaulBrophy - your issue is different. The battery is probably fine but you are unknowingly using lots of features that requires more energy.

Some features like Snore detection and SpO2 tracker can use upto 4 days of battery life alone. On my Sense I get 5-6 days between charges. Of course if you use GPS a lot the battery will suffer hugely. But that is true of all watches and some like the Apple watch may need to be charged more than once per day.

Not all watches are equal but if you want to extend battery life have a look these tips How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.
