Sense's calorie count looks lower than with Blaze

Hi everyone, I just got the Sense after using the Blaze for a few years.  I'm noticing that the calorie count looks lower than how the Blaze was calculating it.  Feels like about 10% less.  Has anyone else had this issue, or know why it might be happening?  I'm using the same Fitbit app & account, and simply switched the watches in the configuration.

I wore my fitbit sense, and my alta HR at the same time doing spinning, running on treadmill, kickboxing and dancing, Alta HR continuously shows higher calorie burn than sense, and my spinning bike monitor has HR tracker too, the calories from spinning bike is 170kcal higher than Sense, which is completely nuts!

I’ve just switched from the Versa to the Sense. Exactly the same gym sessions are now showing 200 calories less than before the switch.

I came here looking for the answer to this too. Just switched from versa 3 to Sense and suddenly my daily calorie count AND gym session calorie count and heart rate zones are considerably lower!

Is Sense possibly less...SENSitive? Super frustrating.

It’s hard for me to burn over 350 calories for all one-hour-HIIT sessions I did. It used to burn over 500 above.
