Sense's heart rate stopped working after waring in the pool

After  couple of times that I used my sense in the pool I had a problem that the heart rate sensor stopped working , it also might be exposed to some salty water from the ocean but I did not swim with it . According to the Sense info is water-resistant to depths of 164 ft (50 m) but I doubt it.

I got in contact with the Fitbit support and followed every step the told me to do but it did not work.

Now they offering only 35% to buy another one , for me this is bad advertisement and they should be more clear and how and WHERE can be worn, specially using it in the pool or the ocean better to say "DO NOT WARE IT to swim"

Hi, @Abromo, welcome to the community, your "Sense" is OK for swimming (I swim 90 minutes a day in mine) If you are using the "Sense" to record a swim either by auto-recognize or by exercise>swim>start you will not get an HR record as it is disabled for swimming. I assume you are not having a problem with HR otherwise and the LED light on the reverse is working. See the first paragraph of How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device?

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers
