The seals degrade over time, there are a few ways to fix, you can use an epoxy to seal it back up, remove the old seal, search the forum there are many tips.

If you have a heat gun you can attempt to heat up the seal press the screen back into the hot seal and it might reseal it.

If you are uncomfortable find a repair shop that will do it for you. Just make sure all traces of moisture are removed before you get the screen re attached
