The screen has fallen off my fitbit just out of warranty, I can see that this is a large scale problem from other community posts.
Surely with such a wide spread problem due to poor design google / fitbit should be looking at compensating customers for this.
The device was bought in good faith and expected to last a reasonable length of time and long past its warranty expiry.
