i've had my fitbit sense for a little over a year and today, out of nowhere, the screen just fell off.
i've been searching the forum and it looks like this is a common problem with a LOT of fitbit devices.
i've contacted support and they told me because my fitbit is out of warranty they won't replace it.
it's absolutely absurd that fitbit will sell defective products like this and not replace them. i will definitely not be buying another fitbit product again since they are such overpriced garbage.

Didn't purchase extended warranty. Mine is out of warranty. Contacted support and was offered 35% off buying a new device.
@Rich_Laue Did it retain its water resistance after using the glue? What kind of glue did you use?
I can't see myself buying another product with a known design problem until I see evidence of a major redesign. Sense 2 lacks a lot of the features I'd want to see at that price point. I'm looking to try to repair my Sense for the time being, and then switch to Garmin.

Did you purchase the extended warranty? You say that you have had it over a year, therefore you admit, it is past the warranty.
On my one 2+ year old tracker, while the screen was off. Bi replaced the battery, and glued the screen back on.

Can't say about water resistance, but if applies correctly I suspect it would be good enough for weather. I use shower time to charge and rarely go swimming. Would never take a fitbit in a Jacuzzi or hot tub, the jets could be to much.
The extended warranty is not handled by fitbit.. You would have to contact the third party.

I've had 3 different Fitbits.
Conclusion, the build quality of Fitbit products is really, really **ahem**. I will get a new one or my money back for number 3. Thank you Sweden for having strong consumer right laws. However, I will never buy another Fitbit product again. The screen glue they use last 11 to 15 months in my estimation. This is a known problem but they've chosen to not do anything about it. I mean, the glue I used to fixate the screen on my second Versa have actually worked better than the factory one.
Note bene: Even if it's suppose to be water proof I've taken the Sense of for showering and swimming since I wanted it to last longer. Didn't do **ahem**. Fitbit should be ashamed for not fixing these after 12 months in the US.
