Sense showing inaccurate weather details and not charging

Hello! I purchased a Sense when it first came out and love it. However recently, the weather is displayed incorrectly. It currently tells me it is 29 degrees in my city when it is actually 85. This has been a problem for a while. In addition, it will not charge correctly. Whenever I plug it in I get the “slow charging” error message telling me to try a different outlet. However, any outlet provides the same results. Does anyone know how to fix these problems? Is it just time for me to purchase a new Fitbit? I’d rather not shell out that much money if it’s not necessary. Thank you so much!

95 F = 29 C

Phone app

Sense charges quickly enough that I ignore "slow charging" message.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for the response! When I go to settings in the Fitbit app, I have it set to Fahrenheit already. Even if it were to be in Celsius, it would still be inaccurate as it was only 85 degrees and not 95.

Hi @Morgan.Allen  - try removing cities and use current location in your weather settings and adjusting the temperature units and syncing your watch.

Slow charging is a common issue most often meaning the watch just needs proper cleaning.

Neither issue indicate a need for a new watch.

Fitbit is not into meteorology.  Weather forecasts are provided by Accuweather. As @Guy_ suggested try to clean the pins on the charger with a q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Clean the four charging contacts on your Sense with a soft toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. If cleaning soes not help, I would try a different wall charger.

Mine says it's 80°F when it is 91° F. Terribly inaccurate. Accuweather is NOT accurate and it was also wrong when installed on my phone.

Hi @SCSV - It is important that your watch is syncing properly and also setup correctly. It should then show the correct information.

Everything else is syncing correctly. Accuweather is always wrong about
weather in Las Vegas. I had it on my phone and uninstalled it because it
was always wrong. My watch charges just fine.

@SCSV- it would seem your phone is not correctly set up for location perhaps?

It says where it is reporting weather and it is exactly where I live. The phone is set up correctly. AccuWeather is a garbage app.

It can not be uninstalled.
