Sense shows Fitbit logo with no lights on back

Sense has been working great, until yesterday. The face went black, so I did a reboot and the Fitbit logo came up. It had lights on back then. Cleaned the charger, and the back of my Sense after reading the community Fitbit info. Charged it overnight, no lights on back now. I’m hoping there is a fix, something tells me, the lifetime of my Sense is over.

Same exact issue. Tried everything with rebooting etc. per online forums. Nothing works. Have yet to have a fitbit that lasts a year. Always ends up inexplicably not working with no remedy.

I’m sorry to hear that! It’s not right. This is my third, I don’t think I’ll do this again. Thanks for replying.

There are surely many others who just don’t bother with posting on this forum. And not surprisingly fitbit doesn’t reply to these posts.

You definitely helped me by replying! Both my Fitbits before lasted over two years and were the simpler versions. So I just accepted it when they quit working. But I loved my Sense, and was surprised and sad it just quit working. Thanks for sharing, I’m off to look for an Apple Watch.

I had the same problem; I just got my replacement today. It took two weeks to get it. I purchased my sense in February.

I am one of those people that don't post in the forum, but after seeing so many people with the same problem, I needed to comment. I would say call support.

Welcome to the Community, @Granof6@RehabSundays and @Eberry.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, and your efforts while working on this matter. I understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry for the experience that you've had with your Sense. Our team constantly works to improve our devices, and we appreciate the input we receive from our members which is a big part of the process.

@Granof6 I understand you've tried cleaning the contacts and performing a restart, but could you confirm if you've tried the rest of the steps described here? If not, please give them a try and don't hesitate to let me know if the issue persists.

Exact same thing after 1 year.  This has to be a glitch in the watch itself. This is my last fitbit for sure. Worked fin yesterday, charged it, now it’s useless.
just chatted with help: they instructed me to close the Fitbit app then:

1. turn my Bluetooth off the back on

2. hold the side button on my Sense about 10 secs. Until the Fitbit logo appears, this restarted the watch and everting is fine now.

I did talk to someone in Customer Service and we weren’t able to fix my problem. I’m happy to hear you fixed your though. Mine was 1yr and 3months. Not under warranty. They did give a coupon toward a new one.
