Sense shuts off at random

I've had my Sense since mid-May and was over all pretty happy. Since the most recent firmware update, however, it has been shutting off at random. Sometimes I have trouble getting it turned back on. I've never let the battery get below 40%, and I've cleaned the charging points several times. Is this something that I just have to live with? It's incredibly frustrating, and I miss my old Ionic.

Thanks for the details provided. I understand how frustrating this can be and I'm sorry for the inconvenience experienced. While you mention it shuts off randomly, do you recall what you were doing when that happened? Were you using the Exercise app? If that's correct, was the Fitbit app opened during your exercise tracking?

In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove the Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app on your phone.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Wear your watch as you normally do and monitor its behavior in the next days.
