Sense shutting down in middle of day

My Sense started shutting down in the middle of the day with 80% + battery life. I put it on the charger when I got home and it restarted. This has happened 3 days in a row. 

Today when I put it on the charger, it stared to heat up so I unplugged it.

I just spent 20 mins with customer service chat and they are replacing my sense! 🙂

Good news, yes if the unit heats up while charging, it needs to be replaced. 

Apparently some circuit was failing and causing a drain on the battery.
