Sense stopped recording skin temperature

My Sense stopped recording my temperature two nights in a row. I’ve restarted it, and checked to see if there was an update, but everything is up to date. I’m not sure why it suddenly stopped recording. Any advice?

Mine has never worked and updated to latest software updates.

In Health Metrics dashboard I'm reporting all items but skin temperature.  the last time I had overnight skin temperature working was the night of 21st and I had a temp on the morning of the 22nd.  This is the last temp rating I had.  So no temp sensing the last 3 nights. 

 

my SPO2 is working fine.  This does take time to calculate and is never available to me at the same time as I sync my sleep.  

 

The temperature thing - I've tried the normal things - uninstall app, wear fitbit loser, tighter.  No change.  This seems like something just stopped running to do the logging calculations or whatever happens server side when our devices sync to phone then to server.  Same reason why it has to "evaluate" your sleep.  This really seems like something is off on the server end since so many users are reporting basically the same issue around the same time and even on multiple devices.

Same here. I spoke with Fitbit twice. Today they acknowledged there is a problem affecting other people and it is being worked on now.

Known issue. I've spoke with Fitbit twice. They are working on a fix right now. It's not random. It's not just you, so don't worry. Fitbit at least knows about it!

Same here.  Last recorded skin temperature was two nights ago.  What happened???

we think it's Fitbit servers. Not the watches. It's widespread issue.

I'm also a premium member and have exactly the same issue. Today is Friday the 25th and the last reading I have is Tuesday. Tried all the fix suggestions to no avail. It can't be a coincidence that so many users are reporting this exact same issue this week.

I contacted Tech Support about this issue. I went through a process to update the software with their help, but it didn’t work at fixing the problem. It’s a Fitbit thing! They have to fix it from their end. There’s nothing an end user can do except let them know that feature is “broken”.

  • Is your data not appearing on the Temperature tile? Or is the issue with the Health Metrics tile? - Health Metrics tile
  • Are you getting the rest of your Health Metrics data correctly? - yes
  • Is your Sense syncing correctly? - Luxe is syncing correctly
  • May I know the model and OS version of your phone? - OnePlus6 and Android 11
  • Do you have the Fitbit app updated? - yes

My last son temp reading was on March 21 also. I check every morning to see if my temp is elevated.  I have a granddaughter that I can't be around if there is any chance that I'm coming down with something.

Same here, no Skin Temperature Data since Tuesday 3/22/2022.  On the Skin Temperature tab it states Last night: No Data.  On the Health Metrics screen under Today, Skin Temperature it says, "No data in the past 24 hours".  I've done a factory reset of the device and forced stopped the app, restored everything and still nothing.  I don't want to have to keep resetting everything.  Fitbit please fix.

Mine stopped working Monday and I've tried talking with customer service and they are absolutely no help. Could this be the software for everyone? Seems like a lot stopped working around the same time.

  • Are you getting the rest of your Health Metrics data correctly? - also no blood oxygenation reading
  • Is your Sense syncing correctly? - yes
  • May I know the model and OS version of your phone? - iPhone 12 Pro Max OS 15.3.1
  • Do you have the Fitbit app updated? - yes
