Sense stopped syncing

My Sense has started to take ages to Sync and then stops Syncing - get an error message "unable to Sync". Spoke to UK Support who were very good. Told me to 'Forget' the Sense in Bluetooth setting, then add a new Sense to replace the one in my Fitbit App. This worked, it Syncs very quickly for 2 or 3 days then back to the same problem. So I replace it in my Fitbit App again and hey Presto, it Syncs for another couple of days......  fed up doing this. Anyone got any idea what's going on??

Thanks

@Jimmyd123b I've encountered this problem too. I've found that restarting my phone fixes it but, as you said, the problem comes back a few days later. I don't know of any solution to this, but keeping your Fitbit app updated may help.

Hi there, @Jimmyd123b. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. It's good to know that our Support Team was able to help. However, it's sad to hear that you're still having syncing difficulties. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this! @alexthecat Thank you so much for trying to help!

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I'd recommend trying the following in the order listed even if some of those steps you've tried already:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
