Does anyone have problems with the Sense not reacting to touch immediately the watch comes on?
It seems to respond fine after a few seconds.
After one operation its necessary to wait again for some seconds before doing the next operation.

Hi
I found an interesting remedy to the non response to touch.
If you swipe right and then left again the screen becomes receptive to the touch.
Could the OS 5.0 be overly sensitive looking for this motion thereby disabling the touch [ONCLICK] detection?
It would explain why it doesn't happen in OS 4.2.
Is there a way to disable the right swipe?

Hello @Guy_, thank you for sharing all this information about the trouble you've been having with the Fitbit Sense taking some time to turn on using the touchscreen feature. Sorry for the late response, I'll be glad to help you with this.
Before considering other options, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to complete the restart procedure and then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
Please keep me posted on the outcome.

I did a restart.
I think there is a slight improvement but its not consistent. I still have to count to 3 or so sometimes [but less often] before the watch will respond to the touch.

Thank you for sharing this information with the solution that you found @Guy_. at the moment there is no way to disable the right swipe, but the team of developers is aware of the reports about some watches that are not responding to touch.
Thanks again for sharing your feedback, let me know in case you continue to experience any difficulty.

Thanks, that's really helpful. It avoids further testing as to why its like that, if its a known problem.
Any news when we get a tracker firmware upgrade
----------------------------------
I'm also wondering if the rendition of the fields is a problem somehow, in that the SVG decodes the position incorrectly, sometimes or always, so fields are not where you expect them to be which obviously makes it difficult for them to be located correctly for touching.
Or alternatively do rectangles respond differently to the touch in OS 5.0, eg may be the whole surface is not sensitive, or the sensitivity to touch portion is displaced from the displayed area.
It doesn't seem to be the case using the Simulator and a mouse, but the watch may behave differently, detecting a possible screen scroll situation when there isn't one.
