Sense vibrates all night records as steps while I’m sleeping

I love my Fitbit but in the past couple days it keeps vibrating and goes to “walk” activity while I’m sitting and sleeping and I can’t get it to turn off and in my the side button anymore. Battery dies now too quickly. Is it the new update or do I need to return my 8 month old product
