I’m at a tough decision. Sense, versa 2 or versa 3. They seem all to similar to pick one. From actual consumers, what did you choose and why?

I've been fortunate in that I have used all 3 of those so can comment with hindsight.

If you are looking for a health tracker rather than an activity tracker then the Sense is your best option. However, I found many of the health tracking features interesting at first but not really useful so I just stopped using them. While it may be attractive to go for the option with all the features, think about what you really want.

The big difference between the Versa 2 and Versa 3 is the built-in GPS on the Versa 3. For some - especially runners - this is a key function. I'm a hiker rather than a runner and don't use GPS so this was not important to me. However, I would be wary of going for an older model in a range over concerns over future development and support.

So, with benefit of hindsight, if I were buying now then I would go for the Versa 3

For the average person, who doesn't have a re-occuring medical condition that makes these features on the Sense useful, the Versa 3 would be the better choice.

Yes the sense has more features for monitoring EKG, EDA, etc, but for the average person who doesn't know how to read the charts, it simply adds  unnecessary confusion

The, now retired Versa 2 uses the phones GPS, while the Versa 3 has a built in GPS. Your choice is to use up the battery on the tracker or on the phone. In either case, something will need to be charged after the run is over.

Personally I like the built in GPS since it lasts longer than the phone will. With the Sense having a quick charge 20 minutes adds almost 2 days.

I got the Sense and my husband got the Versa 3. Buy the Versa 3!!!!!!!   I have had issues with floor count this whole week (right now it says I have done 72 floors in a one story house) and my first week I walked 38,000 steps in 15 mins while it was charging. I don't trust any of the numbers except steps and I can check those.  I regret buying the Sense and wont buy it again.

The Versa 3 board is also full of Floor count issues, both of which started with the latest firmware release.

My thought is that when fitbit finds out why, this will be fixed.

We have had problems that popped up with firmware releases in the past, it may have taken more time then expected, but they where fixed.

The good news is that stair count is not used for any other calculations, like calorie burn. These high numbers will not affect the other data.
