My sense battery run down completely and when I plug it in it is not charging. Please help

I'm also seeing the same issue. Tried cleaning the contacts via the recommended methods but no joy.
I've owned the Sense only 5 months.
I suspect in my case one of the pins on the charger cable is slightly pushed in, so when I try and click it in, the charging indicator flashes up for a second before reverting back to my usual screen.
Personally I am not impressed with the Sense. Two things wrong with it, 1) The charging mechanism just sucks, this click magnetic mechanism is a joke, more often than not the magnet repels making it tricky to plug in. The Versa charging mechanism was fine, why did they change it to be more cumbersome ? Fit Bit really need to move with the times go wireless charging or make the mechanism simple.
2) More of a moan but having to subscribe to a music service to listen to tunes is poor.
I've been a lifelong FitBit user but seriously considering my options here.
