Sense won't connect to GPS during walk or run

Since the last update my sense won't track exercises like a walk or a run. After 10min my sense shows "connecting to gps and starting app" but after an hour it shows the same, it never starts. Manually started exercise is working. I have signed out and restarted both my phone and sense but still the same problem.

Hi @TB_ONE. It's good to see you here in the forums.

Thanks for updating your watch and for the steps tried prior to posting. I'm sorry that your Sense isn't connecting to the GPS correctly during your exercises and let me help you out. As you may know, there are some environmental factors that may affect the GPS connection. This includes tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and thick cloud cover. If you're indoors or underground, the GPS might be blocked.

If this doesn't apply to you, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Make sure it's charged to at least 80% before starting your exercise.
  2. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  3. Turn off the GPS for your exercises.
  4. Restart your Sense one more time.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Turn back On the GPS for your exercises and start your workout one more time.
