Sense won't connect to Wi-Fi or receive notifications

I just bought my Sense on friday for my birthday and can't even use it. I was so looking forward to it. I had an ionic for 4 years and never had problems with it. I'm not impressed at all. After all i so wanted to buy the Sense and now i feel like i want to take it back. I hope this problem will be solved too. I tried everything what they recommended but it still doesn't work.

Hi @EdinaJ I get the impression you have something other than a problem with notification so I've moved your post to its own thread.

You say that the sense doesn't work? What about it that doesn't work? Do you get any error messages?

Is the tracker setup

Hi Rich. When i set up the device i can't connect to the wifi. I did set up evrrything for notifications but i don't get any. I haven't got any error messages on the watch. But when i try to connect to sense control my phone says it can't connect. I unpaired every Fitbit device and deleted my device from the app. Uninstalled the app, restarted the phone and the watch and set up everything from the beginning. But i still can't connect to wifi and sense control. The wifi works everywhere else in the house. That can't be the problem. I use wifi on my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus by the way. I can see my activity on the watch and in the app. I really don't know what else i should try. I'm still waiting for that notification issue to be solved.

Hi @EdinaJ. Welcome to the Community. @Rich_Laue Thanks for stopping by to help our friend.

@EdinaJ I'm sorry for the difficulties you've experienced with your Sense and thanks for every step tried prior to posting. Usually the Wi-Fi, Sense Controls or notifications won't work if the Fitbit device isn't syncing correctly or if there are other Bluetooth connections turned on nearby. That being said, could you confirm if the issues persist? If you do, I'd recommend the following steps as last resort:

  1. Remove your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen, tap Force Stop and reboot your phone.
  5. Restart your watch one more time.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  7. Select your Sense, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once this is done, try adding your Wi-Fi network to your Sense, setting up the notifications and the on-wrist phone calls. Let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps.

Hey @LizzyFitbit . Thanks for asking. I could make it work finally. I kept trying everything and after a few days it started working.
