Sense won't start after 2 minutes of water exposure

Hi ..

I bought my sense in June 2021 after upgrading from versa..till now I have never used the watch in water..

Couple of weeks back I was washing dishes while wearing the watch and it was exposed to water for few minutes..since then it has stopped working ..won't turn on at all.

This is my fourth fitbit and never experienced something like this before..

Can someone please suggest any troubleshooting tips or how to get it going again..

Hi @Hardeep41 - in all likelihood the watch got water in it and is damaged.

If it gets hot while charging stop immediately.

If you charged it for 2 hours from a PC power source and then holding the button for 10 seconds it does nothing it is probably dead.

It is extremely unlikely the 2 events occurred at the same time.

Guy - Your answer doesn’t make sense, since the sense 2 is water resistant to 30 meters.

i am having the same issue with incorrect time on clock and did not get my sense 2 wet. Other suggestions?
