I'm hoping someone can help. My Sense is disconnecting from Bluetooth multiple times per day. It seems to have begun about a month ago when I got my phone upgraded to iPhone 14. I have texted with support multiple times and they tell me the same things. I've made sure I have the latest IOS, updated the app, deleted and reinstalled the app, deleted and reinstalled the Sense... I thought I had it today for about an hour, but now it's disconnected three times in the last hour. I am wondering if maybe the Sense is dying?? I started looking at replacing it, but would really rather not do that. Help!!!

Hi @SarahJW1974 - it may not be a watch problem at all.
If you have the old phone or another device active it may be stealing the Bluetooth connection or your new phone is not setup correctly to have the Fitbit App and associated services running in background.

Thanks for the info. I can check that. Old phone is gone though and the watch isn’t connected to anything else. The only things on Bluetooth are our cars. AirPods. And a heart rate monitor I only wear to workout. Maybe those things kick the watch off when they connect but I’ve had the watch for two years without this happening … I can try to explore what might be running in the background on my phone though. I don’t know how to do that but Dr. Google can probably tell me…

I'm having the exact same issue and followed all the same steps as you. My sense used to be reliably connected to my Android phone without issue but I want to say in the last week or two it has been constantly losing Bluetooth connection. This is especially frustrating as I use the device with my Google assistant regularly.
I do not believe the issue is multiple Bluetooth connections. This issue seems to be popping up for multiple people in multiple threads and Fitbit isn't addressing it at all. I've had no new devices and it used to not have issue. Perhaps the Bluetooth receiver inside our devices is failing or an update was made recently that's causing this.
Has Fitbit pushed out any updates for a sense gen 1 in the last 2 months that anyone is aware of?

I am also having the same problem. Done all the same things. I was hoping someone here would have a fix. It is not multiple devices because at work there is no other device around. And it loses it even when right beside my phone. This is becoming extremely frustrating. Until this recent issue, I have loved my sense.

Same here. In addition, Google assistant will not stay connected. I have unpaired all other devices from bluetooth on my phone. It has made no difference.

I'm having the same problem with my Sense and Pixel 7 Pro. Just started a few days ago. I hope Fitbit releases a fix soon. Probably needs a firmware update.

I just started having the same issue about 2 weeks ago. Uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Nothing fixes it. Getting frustrated.

Not connected since the 27th April. Disconnected, reset, reinstalled etc still not working. Very frustrated at lack communication from Google on this.

Blimey. Me too! It's driving me mad! I've tried everything! I got a new iPhone 14 Max, and I've since been unable to keep a Bluetooth connection. I've loved my Fitbit Sense, but I'm considering ditching it and getting an Apple watch to track fitness, steps and activities. Sadly, the Fitbit, no longer feels fit for purpose!

Hi @WelshAndy - have a look through the answers in this post, the problem could very well be related to your old phone.

Thanks, Guy, but my old phone was stolen two weeks ago and has been decommissioned! Personally, I think Google needs to release a firmware update.

I finally got mine fixed. It was the Fitbit app. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and it is working really good. I don't know if they updated the app or what but it is working.

I did something similar. Reinstalled the app and also did a hard reset on the watch. All in all not great. When I do replace this watch it will not be with a Fitbit.
