My Sense drops the Bluetooth connection about once a day. I have a Google Pixel 7a with Android 14. This is a new phone. I didn't have this problem with my Xperia phone. I would expect a Google phone to have this kinks worked out with a Google watch.
When the connection drops, I don't get notifications of appointments and incoming messages.
I can usually reconnect by restarting the phone, but sometimes I also have to restart the watch, which has become a big problem which I will address in another post.

I've tried toggling Bluetooth. It doesn't help. I really have tried everything you've suggested, and I appreciate your helpful attention to the problem.
How can I revert to V3? That might solve the problem, unless it's caused by Android 14.
I used to have a much cheaper Amazfit watch. I switched to the Sense for the heartbeat monitor because I do have some heart rhythm issues. Everything else worked better on the Amazfit. I'm really thinking of going back to that.
I like to keep my phone's volume turned off and rely on my watch to alert me to incoming calls, or to answer them. Obviously I can't rely on this if the watch keeps disconnecting. I missed an important call yesterday afternoon. I had reconnected yesterday morning and didn't expect another disconnect the same day.

I've been away for a while and thought I should check back.
My Bluetooth connection still drops, but not quite as often. It sometimes stays connected for three days at a time!
Lately I am able to reconnect by restarting my phone, without having to also restart the watch. This saves a lot of annoyance, because resetting the watch is really painful.
Now what I do is check every morning whether my Sense is connected to my phone's Bluetooth. If it's not, I restart the phone and hope it stays connected all day. Often it does.
I have lately wondered if my overnight "do not disturb" setting is somehow at fault. However, the fact that it often stays connected for 24 hours or more seems to indicate that this isn't the problem.
Once when I was checking my phone's Bluetooth settings for something else, I saw the Sense connection fail right before my eyes.
This is really a terrible flaw for this watch. I keep hoping it will be fixed, but I'm beginning to think Google just doesn't care about the Fitbit product.
