Sense won't stay connected to phone

I'm so beyond disappointed in this watch.  It will not stay connected to my phone.  I do not receive my texts or calls due to it not staying paired to bluetooth.  I have had it since Friday of last week it is now Tuesday of the following week this not a user friendly watch for me.  To return the watch they will refund the watch but you are required to pay the shipping. I have been a very satisfied customer with fitbit for a very long time.  This experience makes me very sad considering I have never had this type of issue with the company or products before this.

HI, @rcgym1  -  there may be a simple solution, often it's a problem with the phone or phone settings, in particular battery saving.

 

On the phone check battery optimizations

[the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
  • Next go to Settings > Apps  > Fitbit > Storage
  • Clear cache [not data]
  • Force stop the Fitbit app
