My Sense no longer picks up heart rate data or steps or anything that requires sensing. The light that emits from the back is no longer on. It still charges but it is nothing more than a fancy watch right now. I can use the alarm and stopwatch/timer and can manually add in exercise but nothing is picked up regarding data. .

Hi @Benning - it's possible that the watch has developed a fault but try holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.
To check it is not a clock face problem, swipe the face to the left and select the Today app and see if steps and HR appear there.
As a last resort try a factory reset (not without risk).
If it is still not working and under warranty it can be replaced.
