I don't know if this issue is solvable, but the only way for my Fitbit to receive notifications is for my phone to be on vibrate. If put it on silent, it gives this error message:
"Your phone's ringer is not on. Incoming calls will not be sent to your tracker and app notifications will be sent silently while your phone is in silent mode."
However, I don't receive any notifications at all, so how do I fix this? There has to be a way.

Hi, @nathanch4, welcome, you do not mention the make or model of your phone. Most work well with the Fitbit app but some need special attention Fitbit Supported Devices provide detail. I recently gave this advice to another community member who was not getting vibration signals on incoming notifications

You should check your "Sense" is not in Do Not Disturb. On your "Sense" clock face screen>swipe left and touch "settings">swipe up to and touch "quiet modes">switch off "focus mode" and "Do Not Disturb", ensure you are not in "sleep mode".
