Hello,
I'm a new Fitbit user and i have purchased a Fitbit sense from the US and now I'm using it in India. I've an android app to sync with. My firmware version in the device is 44.128.1.42.
While i love the device for its use and looks, the sleep start time seem to consistently offset by about 1.5 hrs or so. Every night i sleep around 11.00 p.m. whereas the start time gets recorded as 12.30 a.m(+/-10mins). I tried the following:
1) Changed my settings between normal/sensitive .No effect.
2) Tried changing the sleep start time manually in the app and the app says " log already exists for the day"( not the exact verbose)
This is affecting my sleep score as well as other scores like stress management.
This behavior is very consistent and I'm posting this after observation for a week or so.
p.s:
I usually have the habit of lying down in the bed for about an hour or so watching tv/talk to spouse before sleep
Not sure if the device is getting confused because of the above pattern.
Any help or insights would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance

If you are getting "log already exists for the day", then perhaps you are not changing the day. Remember you are expanding it from 12:30am to 11pm (previous day). If you see a separate log for 11pm - 12:30am, you will need to edit or delete it before you add the sleep time onto another log. You can't have overlaps. Your sleep score will not be recalculated, but your charts will be more complete.
Lying down may be recorded as light sleep. Perhaps not wear the watch until you actually sleep.

This happens to me once in awhile as well; don’t know why. But, you can edit the daily sleep log to reflect the actual time you slept, which will solve the issue with your stats/metrics/ etc. Do you know how to do that?
