Sleep score wont get calculated if I use "Begin Sleep" to track sleep

Hi, I bought my Sense 3-4 nights ago.

The nights that I logged by sleep by Begin Sleep and then Stopping Sleep in the morning, my app did not give me a sleep score and REM sleep calculation.

However, when I delete that same sleep and enter it via Log Sleep, I get the data.

What's happening?

From What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

I think 'Begin Sleep Now' is basically for older trackers that don't sense heart rate for determining sleep.

I am puzzled by this too!

Can you possibly tell me how you deleted the begin/stop triggered sleep so that the details could be revealed for that night?

Nevermind, I figured it out. Swipe left on the manually started log to reveal delete button. Then + to log new data. Worked to reveal missing sleep state data - yay!

Another unofficial use I have found for 'Begin Sleep Now' is to record naps of less than an hour; no sleep stages but get sleep time credit.
