Hi all,
So my Sense has randomly stopped tracking my sleep. It missed a night, then the following night started tracking it half way through my sleep, tracked a full night, and now skipped a solid night of sleep. It's SUPER frustrating when it's a big part of why I bought this style in the first place, and it's REALLY frustrating that the only "help" you get from Fitbit is the same BS info that you've read on every other complaint. I KNOW how to wear my watch...it's been recording just fine as long as I've had styles with the function. My app is up to date. I've already force-closed, uninstalled/re-installed, etc. This is a YOU problem, not an US problem. I've been a FitBit loyalist since the first gen trackers, but with all of the issues & lack of ACTUAL help, I'm starting to look at other brands. 💔

Have you managed to resolve this? The same thing’s happened to my Sense and sleep tracking is the main purpose I bought it for… 😞

Same here. I recently started on new meds. One of the side effects was possible insomnia. So I've been interested to follow my sleep data. But it shows I only sleep from like 6am-8am when I went to bed at midnight and I definitely slept. I tried changing the sensitivity and then it didn't report any sleep last night at all. I don't know what to do.

I'm experiencing similar "sleep tracking" issues with my Fitbit Sense 2, which was purchased new in Apr 2024.The sleep tracking is THE main reason I use a smartwatch.
It's reporting 1-3 hour gaps of "no sleep" in the middle of my sleep period. For example, if I slept from 11pm to 7am, it will indicate I was AWAKE from 1am-3am. I'm not a night owl and I don't sleep walk, so something is definitely wrong with the Sense 2's sleep tracking function. It's as though sleep tracking stops functioning for several hours in the midst of a sleep cycle.
I've checked for outstanding firmware updates (none indicated), I've rebooted, force closed. Nothing corrects this problem.
I previously had a Versa 2, which had been quite accurate, with regards to sleep times. Starting to regret this Sense 2 purchase.

My inspire 3 has also stopped tracking my sleep. I’ve been wearing one for years and not had any problems, now suddenly it keeps saying “no data”. Why is there no actual Fitbit help?? For that and now many other reasons my next watch won’t be fitbit.

I contacted customer support but of course there's no way to know if they helped you fix it until you go to sleep. I followed their instructions and it didn't fix it. I tried switching over to the Google platform they're pushing now. So we'll see if that fixes it. I thought because we all seemed to be running into the same issue at the same time, maybe there was some glitch with the latest update. But, if that's the case, why wouldn't they just say they're working on it ? Hopefully this gets sorted out somehow. It's really frustrating.
