Today is 13th and I wore the watch to bed last night with spo2 installed. It captures data but shows a day behind and says no data last night. In contrast,

spo2 watch face shows in correctly

This is finally fixed. Last night data comes up on Health metrics and matches with actual value from the watch.
update 05/07/2021: it still lags today. It was showing ok only for one day

It takes a while for it to show up in the Fitbit App, assuming its working correctly.

Btw, It isn't necessary to have the Watch face because the watch measures SpO2 regardless on the Sense via an SpO2 Tracker app [you can check its installed by default in the Fitbit App, Apps tile].

This means you are free to use whatever watch face you choose as the SpO2 watch face doesn't change all day as it only shows the one value per night.

If the value doesn't show up in the Health Metrics after a couple of hours, clear the Fitbit App cache and force stop it, or in IOS uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit App and redo all notifications.

Yes I have tried that no luck. Data is getting synced from Fitbit servers to the app. Reinstalling app doesn’t fix it. Also not sure how data went off in the first place. Just showing same data but a day behind

Fitbit recently released Fitbit OS 5.2 for sense,  along came an update to the Spo2 app on the  watch as well.  Still, in health metrics, Spo2 data is a day behind. Is it this hard to fix ?
CONCLUSION Fitbit devices and their systems are generally buggy and unreliable. You have to kind or expect that. However , considering the money you spend, they are good value compared to apple watches, Garmin etc. That’s the only reason I’m still using.
