I am confused why have spotify controls on the fitbit sense If I can't use them while exercising. Am I missing something? It said I have to stop tracking my exercise to control Spotify. Ummmmm then why are they here?

Hi, @flagrant99 - the Sense can only run one app like exercise or a clock face at a time.
However there is no need for Spotify controls app because you can use the built-in music controls instead and it works better too, you can even change volume.
There are some system functions which can run while something else is working.
Try double button press to bring up the shortcuts, one of which should be music controls. These are customisable in the watch Settings.

Thx. Yeah at least I can hit next song while exercising. Still why even put spotify controls? Also the shortcut button never works. Instead I always pause my exercise.
Best AnswerWhy do we have Spotify controls? Becouse users, using the Feature Request Board requested this feature.
If you don't want Spotify, it can easily be removed.

@flagrant99 - thanks, try practicing with double button press when not in an exercise, it does work both in and out of an exercise (except swimming).
You are right about the Spotify app for the Sense and Versa 3.
Why it also requires a premium account to be able to even use it when it's not officially supported is odd.
In addition you can't load offline Spotify music to these watches either.

Yeah I will just practice. Next song is useful while working out. Thx.
As far as spotify I find it the most odd that I can't use it while working out.
I guess some people wear sense all day/night.
I just use sense to track Miles, and Heart rate during exercise.
