Starting a call from my Sense using Google Assistant turns on the speaker on the phone

Starting a call from my Sense using Google Assistant turns on the speaker on the phone. I then hear the call on the watch and on the phone and it gets into a feedback loop. I have to turn off the speaker on the phone. It doesn't do this if I answer a call from the watch. Fitbit chat told me that I should only answer calls on the watch. This seems like a Google Assistant issue. Does anyone know how to make the call without the phone speaker turned on? I couldn't find anything on Google forums.

I actually volunteer for BOTH Google and Fitbit. I haven't heard anything about turning off the phone speaker and being able to place a call from either company.

@RGBell I just tested it and after asking Google Assistant to call, my phone is on speakerphone and my watch does not have phone controls. That's the way it's supposed to be.

What do you mean by "my watch does not have phone controls"? The problem is that the speaker on both the watch and the phone are active if you start a call from the watch using the Google Assistant. This causes a feedback loop. Only one of the devices should have control of the audio. If you start the call from the watch, the speaker and microphone on the phone should be off.

@RGBell It's exactly as I mean. My watch tells me the call is on speakerphone. My speaker and mic are off on my Sense.
