Stress management score temporarily blocked 2021-05-13

From one day to the next the stress management score became blocked with sa legal agreement that can't be agreed to.

How do you unlock it?

There was no update to the app or firmware.

Only significant action was a logout, clear cache  and force stop of  the Android app.

Accepted Solutions

Thanks for your reply. Will try the timeout solution.

For testing I log out often to switch watches.

Problem only started 2021-05-13.

They already announced the score is available on other watches, but isn't, so perhaps they are finally releasing it, and messed up the Sense which always had it?

More interesting is the disclaimer wording.

Why they can't put a similar disclaimer for ECG usage in countries where they don't yet have approval is weird, because they advertise the watch with the functionality but because you live in a certain country you can't have it.

I found the solution.

It was to scroll up, and then Agree is enabled!!

This disclaimer no longer appears every time you login since a more recent release of the Fitbit App.

Saw your post so tried just logging out of phone app and right back in, and got same screen.  First I've logged out in months so can't really tell how long been like that.

--------------------------------

I set phone down about 15-20 minutes, picked it up and now "I Agree" is clickable.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Not the end of the problem though.

Once agreed, the score doesn't show, even after a clear cache, forece stop and logout.

Instead you get the option of a new free six month premium.

But it then says it's already been used.

So effectively now the score no longer shows on a Sense without premium!!

I am not able to use stress management for weeks, it says to update the stress management app, help?

All of a sudden the stress management score has been removed, from the Fitbit App connected with a Sense although the tile is still there, the value doesn't show, and it now prompts for Premium to access it.

Obviously a bug has been introduced at Fitbit as no updates were made to app or firmware.

When will this be fixed?

@JohanneP-C   Are using a phone, if so which?

It seems to be working again 20210-05-14, so they must have fixed it., but still has issues if you logout.

Thank you so much  -  once pointed out,  it's obvious to scroll up! but i hadn't thought of it. Happy to have solved this as it was becoming frustrating (and was probably increasing my stress levels!!)

@ElaineHW  Thanks, the bad presentation foxes us.

Why they can't do a more obvious presentation is a mystery.

It's got to be the silliest error, that's so easy to fix.

I reported it to Fitbit support but it's not been fixed.

In a more recent release of the Fitbit App the need to agree to the disclaimer at each login has been fixed.
