My Fitbit Sense did stop during swimming in the sea is this because of the salt water?

Hello @Bertpeer

Fitbit Sense are water-resistant to 50 meters. They're designed to swim proof  in the pool, ocean, shower or rain and stand up to even the sweatiest of workouts. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1598.htm  if your Fitbit Sense is unresponsive I’d try placing your Fitbit into a bag of dry rice for a day or two in hopes of absorbing any water that may have gotten inside. You also can try restarting your Fitbit Sense: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm Of course check to make sure it’s not completely dead because it needed charging. If your Fitbit remains unresponsive I’d contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

😉I hope my response offers you an answer. Please let me know
