Syncing sense to iPhone

I am increasingly frustrated with the Sense. I don’t understand why it will not properly sync with my phone. Why does it need to be manually synced several times every day? And why do some features still not update or work even after syncing. Please help!

Anytime I want to access the weather, agenda, or find my phone feature it tells me to sync with the mobile app. Then, even after syncing, it still rarely works. For instance, after syncing just now it pulled up my agenda but will not show weather information (still says to sync with mobile app to update). The find my phone feature is wonderful but NEVER works because the mobile app always has to be synced. It’s hard to sync the mobile app when I am missing my mobile device. Sometimes after syncing I will try the find my phone feature and it still says to sync with mobile app even when I just did and am holding the phone in my hand. There has to be a way for it to stay synced without always needing to manually do it on the app every time you want to use a feature. Also, I do not use any other Bluetooth devices.

try

On your Android phone check battery optimizations

[the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
  • Next go to Settings > Apps  > Fitbit > Storage
  • Clear cache [not data]
  • Force stop the Fitbit app

Or on your iPhone

tap on settings.

Put app to sleep - off

Probably a good idea to restart both watch and phone after for good measure.
