The band broke off my sense and something is sticking out keeping me from putting a new band on.

Hello @VRF25 and welcome to the Community.  The Sense uses a spring loaded, quick release clasp to hold the band in place.  Your band tore, leaving a small piece in the groove that holds it.  You can see an animation of how to change the band on your Fitbit app.

  • Tap on your device/battery icon, then tap on your Sense tile
  • Tap on the pink How To Use tile
  • Scroll down to Change out your band

You need to have the clasp in the position to change the band, shown by the green arrow.  You might need fine needle nose tweezers to get the piece out.

I had that happen to my Sense today. I got the stuck thing out with a pairing knife. It was stuck hard & I might have damaged the watch.
