The screen of my Sense goes blank when I swipe up

Love my Sense, I’ve had it for nearly a year. Last week it started a strange issue. When I swipe up, which should be the weather etc the screen is just black, if I touch the screen it does open the weather widget. Any ideas? A shut down and restart does fix it but it soon goes back to not working…., I have removed it from my account and reinstalled but no different

Hi there, @55north1west. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, I followed a link which suggested the 10 sec reset by holding the side button, it looks like that has sorted the problem.

Did you hold the side button for 10 seconds? You might have to do it a few times for it to work..

Changing the clock face does not help.

I tried the 10 second press of side button and this did work.

The Fitbit logo appears and swipe up from bottom shows widgets again.

Hi Marre,

I have the same problem; changing the clock face does not help. Can you advise the best way to proceed?

I realize this is an old post, but I just had the same thing happen. I finally thought to swipe over to SETTINGS and swipe all the way down to SHUT DOWN. I gave it a few minutes and then turned it back on. After the logo showed up and went away, my clockface showed up and the swipe down worked to show weather, core stats, and the rest.
