Hello!
I am new to Fitbit and have had my Fitbit Sense for just over a week.
Within this short period of time I've already experienced quite a few issues, most significantly my watch adding thousands of steps while I am not moving!
The first was the day I got it. 16,000 steps were logged before I even put it on. I manually added the activity as driving to get rid of the steps and calories, even though it has already given me an award for this and counted it as an achievement which I can't change?
Then a few days later 7,000 steps were logged while I was sitting in bed reading. Both of these activities were added as a 15 mins of intense movement. Then, just to add fuel to the fire my watch did work all the following day. It didn't count any of my steps or update my calories for about 16 hours, which was when I noticed my steps was at around 200 and something was wrong. Once I started messing around with the watch it seemed to start working again but I'd lost that entire day of data.
Then a day later my steps would flash to 21,000 on my phone app and then after a few minutes of me clicking around it would change back to what it should be.
I called Fitbit about these glitches and was basically just told to turn it off and on again and 'keep an eye on it' which was pretty disappointing.
Has anyone else experienced these sort of glitches and if so did they persist?
Thanks!

When? I haven't turned it off at all since first installing it when it arrived. After I phoned FitBit for support the advisor I was speaking to had me hold down the side button to restart it and that's it.
