To all you Fitbit Sense users is this normal? Altimeter off the chart

So, I got a new Fitbit for Christmas and replaced my Charge 2 with a brand new Sense.

Here is the deal my Charge 2 wasn't 100% accurate I wouldn't expect that but it was surprisingly close.
Now with the newer Fitbit it's off by a mile.
I would run 10 km(h treadmill charge 2 would say 9.5 or something like that now 6.5.
Calories are off the chart with sometimes 5000 Cals a day. I would need to run a marathon to get there, which I don't, close to every day, which I most certainly do not. But the worst is the altimeter. I hate stairs. I avoid them wherever I can. There are 2 escalates a day I take and I would be understanding if those register. Instead I have 50-100 stairs every day, consistently.
That's several 10,000 % failure rate (false positives).

My question is: Is this normal? Have the sensors gotten so much worse? Or is my Fitbit broken?

Hi @Jimmu -  this is a known issue - what you can try to see if it makes a difference is do a Shutdown from the watch Settings menu. Wait at least 10 seconds for it to complete before restarting.

Also check what firmware version you have, in the watch Settings About Sense, System info menu.

If you want to investigate how your watch pressure sensor is affected by environmental issues you can use the SimpleFloors app.

My Firmware Version is 44.128.6.12 as of writing, which is up to date (as far as I know)

I restarted my device several times with no change in the last few months. I do have a Charge 2 which worked fine that's the point you can see it at the screenshot. I went skiing in November other than that never hit the 10 floors a day then I got a Sense and all over sudden explosion.

postscript:  I also want to point out "this is a known issue" is kind of least useful thing anybody can say. I know those airplanes crash all the time but don't worry we know about it. So this is a "known issue"? You gonna do something about it? Nope, but we know about it.

At this point I can say my Sense tells time reliably and the rest is generous guess work.

@Jimmu-  thanks for confirming the version, currently the latest.

If you look in the forums you will see many people experiencing the same problem - hence the issue is already known and as yet not fixed by Fitbit
