Tried all suggestions to get rid of number 1 on app

Number 1 shows on app on phone tried everything turned off badges and notifications etc still won’t go also won’t consistently wake to show the time when wrist lifted to look at the clock face also disappointing doesn’t look sturdy enough anyone else had issues like this

Hi @RosemariePz - if you have number 1 in the top right corner, click on it, it is saying you have message or notification pending.

 

Click again where the number 1 is and deal with the item (delete it), it will then go.

 

For your wake issue, swipe the face to the right to get to Quick Settings and make sure wrist wake icon is enabled and Sleep icon is disabled.

 

Note that during sleep wrist wake is disabled and a button push is required.

Thank you for the help the swipe and disable worked BUT I have no messages and no notifications they have all been deleted and none are showing what would you recommend now please??

@RosemariePz - are you saying when you pull down from the top edge of your watch it says you are all caught up?

 

If so that is normal you will only see new ones.

 

If you are saying you see no messages and no notifications in the app after clicking on the top right icon (where the number 1 was) that is normal if nothing has been sent by friends.

Yes phone tells me all caught up no messages or notifications and the app shows no messages or notifications but the red number one is still visible on the face of the app on the phone! This number surely represents that I DO have either messsge or notification? Never had this issue with the versa 2 and therefore this issue is inconsistent I just want to get rid of a notification symbol when I haven’t got any. Are Fitbit working on this only there are many people on the forums that have the same problem thanks

@RosemariePz- thanks for the clarification, it is odd, and may be a resynchronisation issue within the App.

 

Try logout and login, if the problem persists it would be good to post screenshots of the app today page, messages and Notification views.

 

As you have an iPhone a further step to try would be a reinstall of the app. But bear in mind if you uninstall the app your phone OS must be recent enough to reinstall it. See Fitbit-compatible devices

Have reinstalled app but will log out again and see what happens just as I’m trying to sort this issue out my Fitbit has without me changing anything changes my clock FACE!!!!! Getting a little concerned that this has quite a few bugs going on

We’ll done you the 1 disappears when you log out and back in again now any ideas why it how the clock face just changed without me actioning it!???? Thanks

@RosemariePz- Glad we got the 1 Sorted.

The Sense responds to a long press to change clock faces and they can also be changed in the Gallery.

It is possible that the logout/login got it to sync properly and a pending change was then enabled.
