Tried using a fix here and it exacerbated the problem

My fitbit wasn't syncing to my phone as of September 27th. I went to the forums to find a solution to my problem and was suggested to try a few things. First I tried to restart the fitbit. Didn't work. Second I tried deleting it from the Bluetooth to connect again. Wouldn't connect to the phone still. I tried restarting my phone and restarting my Bluetooth. Neither worked. The new app rolled out around this time, and was told to try to download the new app. Didn't work. Next I tried to shut down the Sense via the menu on the device to restart it. Sense loaded back up with the fitbit logo. I tried once more to connect it via Bluetooth, and have been stuck on the fitbit logo. I have been trying everyday doing the same steps. It's been two weeks and still no updates on the website, still stuck on the fitbit logo.

Forgot to mention, I have also let the fitbit completely exhaust itself of power and retried to connect. Still failing.
