Unable to add card to wallet on Sense

ANSWERED

I was using fitbitpay well and recently it decided to not detect my card in wallet.

I have removed the card to which I would like to troubleshoot but in the end I couldn’t even add any card, just receiving payload error 6200 upon pressing get started in wallet app.

Please help to solve the issue.

@bunnmeow Another idea: see if you have a device lock PIN already set up and try to remove it or change it. You can find this by tapping on your Profile photo > Sense > and scroll to the bottom where you see Device Lock. Try changing the PIN or see if you can disable it.

If none of this works, I'd try a complete factory reset of your Sense, remove it completely from the Fitbit app and your bluetooth, and set it up all over again like a brand new device.

@bunnmeow What kind of card are you using? Is the bank still supported? I would try uninstalling your Fitbit app and reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue.

Hi @Heather-S ,

Debit card supported bank, it was working fine in the first year. Only recently I am totally unable to use the wallet app. The fitbit app on phone has been uninstalled and install back, it still show the same error prompt.

@bunnmeow Are you using an Android or iOS? I'm wondering if you're on Android if you have to use Google Pay now. See Google Pay comes up for you:

The device pin was in disabled state.

Everything worked after factory resetting, the watch and fitbit application.

Guess there was a bug after using the watch for a year.

Turn off and on the Bluetooth on your phone. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache. Go back one screen and tap on force stop. If possible, use another strong internet connection.

Will
