Pretty much in the subject. Just got my Sense from the Ionic recall. Now I can't control my music? I have a premium account so what is the problem?

The issue isn't the sync, the issue is that the Fitbit app is saying that my Spotify account is a free one when it isn't. So, therefore, my Fitbit is still saying I need a premium account when I already do have one.

UPDATE: Okay, I was apparently stuck in an odd bug. My main Spotify account logs in with FB, but my phone's browser was logged into a secondary account (and I never really use FB from my browser on the phone) so it apparently created a free account to associate with it under the same email address already associated with my Spotify? Username was a long number but all the other info matched my normal Spotify account.

It wasn't letting me log in with username / pass for my main Spotify account so I was using the number as user name, which was logging me into the "ghost" account instead of my main.

Once I logged in on my phone's browser with my regular FB account and logged into Spotify with it from the Fitbit app, everything worked. That was fun!

Hi @Justifide  - you have to go into the Spotify app settings in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Device tile and scroll down to Spotify, Settings and login, then sync.

You may find that Music controls does a better job once Spotify is running on your phone as you can use it any time [double press the button to get to it] without closing your clock face or app. It also enables volume changing.

You can't load Spotify music or personal music to the watch so you will need a phone or another paid for music source.

That does not work. When I log in it says I have a spotify free account even though I definitely have a spotify premium family account.

@Justifide  - did you restart the watch and phone and sync again?
