Unable to get a Sense as replacement

To whom it may concern,

Fitbit was once a great company, with products that lasted and good customer service. Since the google acquisition this is no longer the case. I simply wanted a replacement to my device (Sense), which was faulty. Alas it is no longer available from fitbit. The only item that is comparable for my discount is Sense 2, which I don't want. I believe in the past decade I have purchased 6 Fitbit devices. The build quality and lifespan keeps declining, and the glitches increasing. It is a shame that google acquired and ruined a good start up. Congratulations.

Best Buy and Amazon are both advertising the original Fitbit Sense for $139.95 ... My wife got me one for my birthday earlier in October from Amazon and I have returned the favor for her through Best Buy ... At least within the last two weeks, inventory at that price was available despite the non-support posture by Fitbit ...

Thanks Wharfrunner. I'm aware there are sub $200 Senses out there from retailers. That's not the issue. It's the lack of accountability for producing subpar devices and the dismal customer service from QuitBit that I take exception to.

No worries ... I meant no criticism and wish you well in the long-shot plea for Fitbit accountability ... I have a bit of an advantage there since one of my sons is way up the food chain at Google and I don't have to pay for Google support ... The jury is still out as it relates to that oxymoron known as "Fitbit Support" ... Good luck!
