Unable to get free Sense sports band

Just spent a half hour trying to resolve an order issue with fitbit with no resolution. I purchased the Sense during the sale that advertised it for $199 plus a free sports band. Good deal! I clicked the button saying I wanted the sports band. It said the complementary sports band was added to my order. When the package arrived I got my Sense but no sports band. After over a half hour and having this getting escalated to a supervisor named Darren, he told me that nothing could be done. That the promotion was over. When asked if I could talk to his supervisor, he said there was no one that I could talk to. Went to chat and had the same issue. I have had several Fitbit devices over the years. Always had good customer service. What just happened?

I am in the same boat same deal same issue with receiving the free sports band. I also entered the code "sport" and again the sports band showed up in my order before I purchased my Sense. The box had a sticker that showed the free six month trial to premium but no sports band just the standard band that comes with the sense.

I feel a bit baited.
